Firstly, it is necessary to clarify the basic characteristics of the two sauces. Taro sauce is mainly characterized by its dense, delicate texture and moderate viscosity. Sometimes, in order to maintain its unique taste, some fine taro particles are retained. Both of these sauces belong to semi fluid or paste like foods, which require specific requirements for the transportation stability, quantitative accuracy, and anti adhesion ability of packaging equipment.

For taro sauce with relatively uniform and delicate texture, in addition to piston filling, high-precision and hygienic peristaltic pump filling is also an option. It transports materials by compressing and deforming the hose, and the material only contacts the inner wall of the hose, greatly reducing the risk of contamination. It is also easy to clean and replace, making it very suitable for food with strict hygiene requirements. But it may be limited when dealing with materials with extremely high viscosity or larger particles. Therefore, the specific selection needs to be based on the actual formula and process requirements of the sauce.
In terms of packaging form, these two types of sauces are generally packaged in glass bottles, plastic bottles, or composite hoses. Glass bottles have a high-end appearance and good barrier properties, but they are heavy and fragile; Plastic bottles are lightweight and economical, and attention should be paid to whether the material meets food contact standards and has sufficient oxygen and light blocking properties to maintain the flavor of the sauce; Composite hoses are easy to squeeze and have strong sealing properties, making them suitable for small-scale retail. The corresponding packaging machine should be able to stably supply bottles, accurately align them, and integrate functions such as capping, capping, or sealing the tail. For example, using a servo motor-driven capping head can precisely control the capping torque to ensure consistent sealing.

The hygiene design and cleaning convenience of the equipment cannot be ignored. All parts that come into contact with the sauce should be easy to disassemble for cleaning and disinfection (CIP/SIP), which is crucial for maintaining product quality and preventing microbial growth. Especially for sauces with high sugar and oil content, which are more prone to bacterial growth, the equipment structure should avoid cleaning dead corners.
